This article explains a few different ways to add third-party extensions or code to your website. This could be a YouTube video, a customized button, or more extensive code.
Important Note
Our support team is happy to show you the tools available within the website admin, and we can run through the steps that are detailed in this article. However, further troubleshooting or assistance with custom code would be considered "custom design assistance, " a service we do not offer. You need to seek a third-party solution for that service.
WordPress Plugins
MoxiWebsites use a limited version of WordPress. For those who are familiar with the full version, some elements may already be familiar to you! However, since it is a limited version of WordPress, we don't have access to all of the same features you would see in the full version. One such functionality is the plugin menu.
Our website editor does not support plugins in the same way a regular WordPress website would. If the plugin you're looking to add gives you code to put into your web page, please read on for further instruction on how to add it to your website.
If you are not given a piece of code to add to your website, you will not be able to use the plugin on your MoxiWebsite.

Code For the Whole Site
Sometimes, a bit of code requires that it be added to the entire site rather than a specific page. In this case, we recommend checking this article: Adding JavaScript to Your Website
Code On a Single Page
If you want to embed a YouTube video or another widget on a page:
- Log into your Agent Website Admin Center.
- Navigate to Site Pages and click "Edit" under the page to which you'd like to add your code.
- Launch Page Builder.
- Locate the HTML module, and drag and drop it on the page where you want it.
- Paste your custom code in the small window that pops up.
- Click save, and make sure to publish your changes.
Your custom code should appear on the page! You can move that module around to your desired location.
Something on the page look off once you add the code? It's likely an issue with the code itself. You need to review the code for accuracy as our support team is unable to troubleshoot issues with third-party code.
