There are two ways to edit your contacts in MoxiEngage. The first is directly within MoxiEngage. The changes will sync to your connected Gmail account. The second is to change your contact record in Gmail directly. Once you make your changes, it will sync to MoxiEngage and change the record in the program. Here’s how to change a contact record in Gmail.
Log into your Google account. If you are using an account supplied by your broker and do not know your password, speak to your brokerage administrator for assistance.
Open the Gmail account connected to your MoxiEngage. Within your Gmail account, select the nine-button symbol. At the drop-down menu, select Contacts.

Editing a Contact Record
The Contact menu appears.
Find the contact you wish to edit and click it. The record will open for editing.
Select the Edit button to edit the contact record. Once you have made your edits, select the Save button to save the contact record changes.
The change to the contact record will be applied to the contact record within Gmail and update in any group in which the contact has been placed.
Creating and Applying a Label
If you wish to add a new group in your Engage but start from Gmail, you would apply a label to a contact record. Here’s how to create a new label in Gmail and apply it to a contact.
In the left column, select the plus sign (+) next to Labels. The Create label box will appear. Place in the new label name and select Save.
To the right of any record, select the three dots. In the drop-down menu, under Change labels, choose the labels you wish to apply to your record.
The label will translate into a group in Engage, placing the contact record into the group.
