You can email your contacts and groups as needed from any screen in Engage. Simply enter the name of your client or group to send out emails quickly so you can keep your business moving forward.
Note: Engage is not equipped to add images. Check out our Email Campaigns and our Present Email options for more ways to connect with your sphere.
Emailing Contacts from MoxiEngage
1. Select the Email icon in the top right of your Engage sub-bar (see below).
2. From the pop-up, enter in the name of your client or group and select their name from the drop-down to add them to the To field (see below).
3. If you would like to add an image to your email, select the Image icon to upload an image from your computer (see below).
Note: Images have a 25mb file size limit
4. If you would like to attach a file to your email, select Attach File at the bottom of the Email window (see below).
Note: Attachments have a 10mb per file size limit and a maximum file size limit of 25mb total.
5. Add your email message and select Send (see below).
Communication Consent for Canadian Users
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation requires you to obtain and document consent for all commercial electronic messages (CEMs). You are responsible for storing your own consent documentation. For more information, refer to https://www.fightspam.gc.ca/.
When emailing your customer, you will need to take additional steps to make sure you are in compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
- From the pop-up, enter in the name of your client or group and select their name from the drop-down to add them to the To field (see below).
- Select CHECK FOR CONSENT
- Note: If one or more names have not already been approved, you will need to add consent for each person name not already approved.
- Provide consent if needed
- Implied Consent: This person submitted their information to you through the regular action of your business. Example: This person filed out a form and included their email address. Note: This type of consent expires automatically after 6 months.
- Express Consent: Consent given to you directly by this person.
- Personal Relationship: You are exempt from indicating consent.
- Need Consent: Skip this person for now until you have consent to communicate
- Select Save
- Complete your email and then select Send
- Note: If one or more names have not already been approved, you will need to add consent for each person name not already approved.
