Question:
Why are my listing not appearing when I search by MLS number?
Situation:
You are using the MLS search function on the Search tab, but your listings are not appearing in the search results.
Answer:
There are a few reasons why your listings may not appear in the search. Here are the most common issues and how to resolve them:
1. You’re searching for commercial listings.
Unfortunately, MoxiWorks does not receive commercial listings from the MLS. See the article linked at the bottom of this page for instructions on how to add these listings into MoxiPresent.
2. You’re searching for an older listing.
MLS's only share their data for a selected period of time. Some MLS's supply data for a single year while others supply data for 5 years or longer. If the listing is older, it’s likely that the MLS has stopped sending data for that listing. See the article linked at the bottom of this page for instructions on how to add these listings into MoxiPresent. If you are unsure if the listing is too old, you can send the MLS number to our Support Team, and they will be happy to assist you.
3. The listings are hosted with a different MLS than the one associated with your presentation.
Per MLS rules, presentations can only be associated with one MLS. Any additional listings from other MLS's would need to be added manually. Some MLS's have partnerships that allow agents, who are a member of a single MLS, to see other MLSs’ listings on their portals; however, they do not allow the listings from these other MLS's to be pulled into Moxi without the agent having a membership with that secondary MLS. See the article linked at the bottom of this page for instructions on how to add these listings into MoxiPresent.
