One of the most powerful ways to connect with your client is through subscribing them to Neighborhood News. Neighborhood News provides housing market statistics and information by zip code or location, refreshed regularly to give your client the latest statistics. When the time comes, there is a contact form so the client can have more in-depth conversations with you about their real estate needs.
There are limits to the Neighborhood News subscriptions. Only active or sold listings are shown, no pendings. Your client can view the last 30, 60, or 90 days of listings. The client can sort by price, bed, bath, square foot, and status and can edit the ZIP code for their search.
While you as an agent can create a Neighborhood News subscription for a client, a consumer can create a Neighborhood News subscription for themselves. Here’s how to do it.
On your website, your client selects Neighborhood News.
The client puts in their first and last name, the email they would like to have their Neighborhood News report sent to, and the zip code for the Neighborhood News report. The client selects the Sign Up Now! button to create a Neighborhood News subscription.
If the client already has an account with the agent, the First Name, Last Name, and Email fields will be filled in. The client must put in the Zip Code for the Neighborhood News report.
The client will receive a notice that they are now subscribed to Neighborhood News. Selecting the Neighborhood News menu item will take the client to a Neighborhood News report for the zip code they entered.
While the client may not have an associated account with you, they will be connected to you via their Neighborhood News subscription. At the bottom of the Neighborhood News is a contact form and a way to unsubscribe.
On your Engage dashboard you will see the Neighborhood News subscription.
A client record will be created with the subscription listed in the Activity panel. You will also see viewing activity by the client so you can keep in touch with the client.
