Use the DMS to create brand new content as an alternative to uploading preexisting content. You can create content in several different ways, as described below.

- Once signed into the DMS, click Create Content (see below, indicated by the red arrow).

- A drop-down menu will appear (see above, circled in red). Select the method you would like to use to create new content:
- Plain Text: Use this when you want to add content with only text in it with no formatting (ex. No bold, no italics, and no underlines).
- HTML: Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is the standard markup language used when creating Web pages. Use this if you would like to add formatting, links, or other tags.
- XML: Extensible Markup Language (XML) is markup language that defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format that is both human-readable and machine-readable. Use this when you want to separate formatting from the content (ex. Microsoft Office Suite uses XML).
- By Templated Node: Templated nodes provide a convenient way for users to quickly create content based on a pre-determined style, such as documents already formatted to company guidelines.
