Why are my messages being marked as Spam?

This article contains some helpful information to explain why your messages might get flagged as Spam and explains what you can do about it.  Spam filters change over time, but using these tips should help make sure your messages reach your contacts.

 

Quick Tips

Some things to avoid include:

  • Using Spam words and phrases
  • Including too many images

  • Purchasing online email lists

    • In other words, know your recipients.

  • Sending attachments to large groups of people

  • Sending mass emails too close together

    • Sending many emails to many people in a short amount of time quickly triggers Spam filters.

  • Using bright red or bright green font color
