IMPORTING YOUR CONTACTS INTO GOOGLE CONTACTS
Your Gmail account must be connected to your MoxiEngage account for your contacts to flow into Engage.
Do not remove or change any of the column headers in the template.
In column AA of the template will be an area where you can create groups to be created in MoxiEngage. You will also want to ensure your contacts are in your main Contacts folder for them to flow into MoxiEngage. For example, if you wanted the contact to be both in the main folder and in a group called Buyers, this is what the entry in column AA would look like: * My Contacts ::: Buyers
When your contacts are loaded in the template, in your browser, open the Gmail account connected to your MoxiEngage. Within your Gmail account, select the nine-button symbol. At the drop-down menu, select Contacts.
The Contact menu appears. Select +Create contact button at the top left of the screen.
You’ll be given a choice of either creating a new contact or creating multiple contacts. Choose Create multiple contacts.
The next screen will give you an option to select a file to import contacts. Select the .csv file you have created with your contacts and press the Select file button. Choose the file you have saved your contacts into and choose Import.
Google will let you know when your contacts have been imported and if there were any issues with the import. Any groups you created will show up as labels in your Contacts.
Within 24 hours the contacts will show in your MoxiEngage.
